The Power of Reiki
I've seen Reiki work through Cassie, a client with stage 4 metastasized breast cancer and four inoperable tumors on the lining of her lungs. Her full health and well-being were restored in less than four months when her scan revealed zero tumors in her body.
Her recovery began with guided meditations and then Reiki sessions. After a month of weekly practice, the Reiki 5 Principles became our guiding voice for morning inspiration. My client shared that she often practiced the five principles throughout the day when she felt activated by someone or something in her life. She remembered her agreement with Reiki energy; it could only flow and heal if she stayed open and true to the principles.

The 5 Guiding Principals are:
Just for today, I will not worry.
I will not get angry.
I will be grateful.
I will work hard.
I will be kind to myself and others.
Just for today, I will not worry.
I will not get angry.
I will be grateful.
I will work hard.
I will be kind to myself and others.
Reiki means universal healing energy in Japanese, and these principles open all Reiki sessions.
Cassie and I began saying these words throughout the day:
Just for this day, this moment, I let go of worry.
I let go of anger. I remember the loveliness of myself and others.
I work hard now to stay true to Reiki agreements.
I let kindness guide me.
It is that simple and doable, just for this moment, just for this day… Try it. Think of a person or event that challenges you. Notice the feelings that come up in your body, and feel them. Cry, grieve, and name the feelings.
Honor your experience, maybe put your hand on your heart, and observe what happens to you. Begin saying the Reiki agreements in your head or out loud. Practice several times a day and let me know how it works for you.
